Massive thumbs down for Dansk. Why has nobody managed to respond to me at all for the past 7 weeks? For more than a year we have been waiting for a set of shelves that was badly ordered by the salesman.Called the shop many times ...They said that they will look into it that they will call us etc...nothing COULD SOMEONE DO SOMETHING PLEASE! I think that there may be one type of cookware that has prompted more “What is that?” questions from readers over the years than anything else, and that is Dansk Kobenstyle. Got in touch with Head office yesterday, only to be told that they're organising for someone to come and take the table back. This furniture was not cheap and I am very careful with my furniture, but the slightest thing stains this, should not be sold in the first place, Dansk were terrible and would never but with them again. In January 2012 I bought, what I thought, was a quality £2600 Natuzzi sofa from Dansk, Rayleigh, Essex, but within 14 months the foam cushioning failed (it sank!) Still annoyed I accept this. Again, no response. Quality products, knowledgeable staff and nice delivery guys. I ordered my bedroom furniture on the 13th of june and wont receive the goods until 15th september 2011. It's now been nearly a month and I have had no communication regarding when this issue is likely to be resolved or when I will be receiving a new dining set. Spending thousands of pounds. We fully furnished our home all from the Rayleigh store over the course of 2 years. I am always wary of salespeople, but visiting Dansk was a breath of fresh air. Today I get another phone call to to explain that my table was delivered in the wrong colour and that i would have to wait to at least the end of September. Shocking and very expensive experience. I eventually gave up and sent a final email requesting a full refund and for someone to come and collect the table. They are now planning to re-sale my furniture in their Rayleigh Store. The furniture was faulty and further damaged on delivery, along with damage to my property! I was offered a delivery date 17th august which is a long wait but acceptable in my opinion (and within the time scale agreed at time of order 8 to 10 weeks). Still annoyed I accept this. Nan at Danish Furniture of Colorado is the exception to that general rule. Not even worthy of one star to be honest. Just stumbled into this store by chance, and it's a hidden gem! She was gracious and super knowledgeable about the Ekornes Stressless furniture they sell. Like other consumers very disappointing for what we are lead to believe is a quality brand! Diabolical experience! Once only a vintage find, the Dansk Kobenstyle cookware line was rereleased a few years ago and is now easily available. The dining table that was delivered was faulty - delivered on 9th April. I would like for this to be refunded to me along with the deposit that I paid upfront and for someone to come and collect the faulty goods. 4 years for a circa £2.5k Chair is not acceptable to me there is only myself and my husband so the use is minimial! I am outraged they've completely washed their hands of it as I now have what was a very expensive, but useless, sofa. The first time I shopped at Dansk and I am very impressed. Highly recommended. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS FURNTURE....I bought 2 sofas and 1 footstool (Arundel) last year from dansk, took out an insurance policy with them, within months the sofas were terrible every mark appeared them even down to a drop of water stained them, queried this with Dansk (they didn’t want to know), as have I had been advised of this I would not have bought them, eventually went through the insurance company who came out eventually to clean and made them 19 times worse (told Dansk, they didn’t want to know), eventually had to have the sofa recovered, brand new sofa and had to have cover replaced, ridiculous.
